Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat has advertised a notification for
the recruitment of Deputy Registrar (P), Lady Medical Officer,
Stenographer Grade III, Programme Assistant (Computer), Stenographer-cum
Computer Operator and Driver-cum-Mechanic vacancies for the project
“Post-harvest loss assessment and SOPs of post-harvest management of
some important medicinal plants of Assam” on direct recruitment basis.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be maximum 38 years as on 01-01-2017. Age relaxation is admissible as per rules.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess second class Master’s degree in Arts/
Science/ Commerce of a recognized University for S.No-1, MBBS degree
from a recognized University for S.No-2, Bachelor’s degree in Arts/
Science/ Commerce from a recognized University, pass the Speed Test
Examination of Stenographer of 80 w.p.m.in English conducted by the
University for S.No-3, Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field (Computer
Science/ Computer Application) or equivalent qualification from a
recognized University for S.No-4, Bachelor’s degree in Arts/ Science/
Commerce from a recognized Institute for S.No-6, pass HSLC or its
equivalent
Examination, have ) Driving license for both heavy and light vehicles for S.No-7 Posts.

Application Fee:
Applicants required to pay Rs. 300/- for General candidates and Rs.
150/- for SC/ ST/ PH candidates in the form of challan copy (may be
downloaded from the University website) at Powerjyoti Account of the
University lying with the State Bank of India, AAU Jorhat Branch (A/c
No. 33019714091).
How to Apply: Eligible
candidates can send their application along with relevant documents,
self addressed stamped (worth Rs.6/-) envelope (size 23 cm x 10 cm),
